My Weekend...Blah/January 21, 2007

How has everyone's weekend been? Drop me a line either in notes or in comments and tell me all about it. My own has been pretty low key. Friday night, we ate at a Chinese buffet and hung out at our friend's house. We played poker, watched Eight Heads in a Duffel Bag and Rocky IV. On Saturday, I spent most of the day watching episodes from season two of Dawson's Creek (yes, I was a pathetic old-school teeny bopper and I like to reminisce), and then Erik and I grabbed a bite to eat at IHOP. We also raided my favorite dollar store, 99 Cent Stuff, and I bought a shitload of art supplies, scrapbooking materials and other little knick knacks (coffee mugs for my tea, a sugar caddy and a tea caddy).

So far today, I woke up at 10:34 a.m., took a shower, and began reading your diaries. I have found many new favorites and have added them to my buddy list. There are seriously so many great writers out there among you all. So many people have the potential to become best-selling authors. I hope those of you who truly enjoy writing as much as I do pursue the pipe dream and write a novel. I'd definitely buy a copy. The world can always use more great writers.

My laundry hamper is overflowing. I seriously need to get up off of my lazy behind and get some clothes washed, lest I go to work stark naked this week.

I can hear Crusher running around in the backyard, going insane as he barks up a storm. He's "conversing" with the pooches in the neighboring yard.
