Art Unleashed/January 16, 2007

Erik started school today. He's going for his bachelor's in criminal justice. He'll be attending school three days a week, so I have to get used to spending less time with him. It's going to be kind of hard for me, because I'm a bit clingy and I'm also a major creature-of-habit. I'm going to miss spending time with hiim every single day. ::sigh::

Looking on the bright side, I will have more personal time to myself to work on my book and my art. I'm very into collage art, drawing, digital art, photography, scrapbooking, crafts, etc. My artistic side fully unleashed itself on the world shortly after I met Erik. Before I met him, my hobbies were limited to writing and reading. I have him to thank for inspiring me in so many ways. Art is so freeing. It's something that makes me happy because I'm not doing it for anyone else, but me. I love sharing my art; don't get me wrong, but seeing my stages of progress with my own eyes is so refreshing and the sense of accomplishment is so great. It's all something I do for my own entertainment and pleasure.
